Mulder Petfood is working towards a sustainable future. With our CO2 freezing system and heat recovery system, we strive to maintain quality and environmental responsibility in all our operational processes.
Sustainable heat recovery
To preserve the quality of our fresh produce, we invested in a sustainable CO2 freezing plant. This freezes the fresh products quickly so that optimum quality is maintained throughout the process. The special feature is the heat recovery, where we can heat 15 m3 of water. This water is then efficiently used for the daily cleaning of our production site. Thus, we not only ensure hygiene but also pursue sustainability in our operational processes.
Packaging sustainable and recyclable
We pursue sustainability throughout the company. Therefore, our packaging is also recyclable. Recycling our packaging reduces the pressure on the environment. The aim is to continuously reduce our ecological footprint. In addition, we are developing new products every day to keep the environmental impact of our products as low as possible. Finally, we do our bit to reduce food waste by processing residual flows from the human food industry.
